Christmas House is a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization in Everett, Washington that provides an opportunity for qualifying, low-income, Snohomish County parents to select free holiday gifts for their children age infant – 18 yrs old. In 2015 we provided more than 45,000 gifts to over 8,000 children from 2,750 families. Each December our “store” is located in the Boys & Girls Club gym at 2316-12th Street, Everett, WA. Our mailing address during the year is PO Box 717, Everett, WA 98206.
Many people contribute to the success of Christmas House and are responsible for putting bright smiles on the faces of over 8,000 children in Snohomish County on Christmas morning. Some contribute their time, some donate money or gifts, some hold fundraisers, some volunteer their skills … the list goes on and on.

Quality Sewing hosts event to sew doll clothes for Christmas House
Christmas House purchased 109 beautiful dolls (18″ tall) with donated funds, and more than 35 volunteers have been helping sew additional outfits for each doll. A big thank you to everyone who has participated and a special thanks to Quality Sewing in Everett who sponsored an all-day sewing event on Aug. 13 for volunteers to gather and sew doll clothes. Those who knew ahead brought finished items. Others brought material, patterns, and their talent. At the end of the day, an estimated 400 items were ready to be paired up with the dolls, including nightgowns, ballgowns, dresses, jeans, blouses, lacy tiarras, and even an Olympic event outfit! All the Christmas House dolls will be exceptionally well dressed thanks to the caring people that have put so much time and love into making these Christmas gifts extra special for more than 100 children. Quality Sewing will be accepting outfit donations through Thanksgiving. View the great Aug. 19 Herald Article by Kari Bray.
